Refurbishment Procedure

If you require a quotation for a cylinder repair or refurbishment our standard procedure is as follows:

You send the unit back to our workshop via carrier (we can arrange this if required).

We will then strip inspect and report on our findings. A quotation will be generated using the information on the strip down and inspection report.

Once we have a decision on how to proceed, we can either repair the unit or organise for it to be scrapped or returned.

The unit will undergo a full strip, clean shot blast and paint to original specification. During the rebuild process any items found to be damaged worn or out of tolerance will be replaced according to our initial strip down report and quotation.

The completed cylinder and/or position control unit is then tested and calibrated before final inspection prior to despatch.

All our refurbished units will be returned in ‘As new condition' unless otherwise stated.

Any factory refurbished units will carry our standard warranty terms.
